American Goldfinch
Gold finches vary in colour based on the stage of their life. A breeding male will be bright yellow with a black head and wings with a white markings. As a non breeding male will be a drab yellow head, unstreaked brown body with a blackish wings and two pole winbars.

Often perches on or explores along slender twigs and weedy stems. They next in hole in trees and nest boxes. Occurs in a wide variety of wooded and shrubby habitats. Small and compact with a tin short bill. Black cap and bib contrast with white cheeks, gray back and wings and light buffy underparts.

Dark Eyed Junco
Juncos are among the most common songbirds of North America. They typically live in forest under-stories but often visit feeders, especially during the winter. Medium-sized sparrow with a round head, long tail and a fairly small, pale bill. All juncos have prominent white outer tail feather. "Slate-coloured" is the most common colour for top feathers with a white belly.

Evening Grosbeak
